Distressed or Just Stressed Out?
The appeal of clothing that appears worn out or damaged has always been a bit of a mystery. Major brands like Gucci and Nordstrom and smaller ones seem infatuated with this distressed look.
Nike, too, seems to echo high fashion trends, regardless of their practicality. Observing their shoes, one is left wondering: Are they intentionally distressed or ill-conceived? Whatever the intention, they aren’t winning any fans here.
