German model and actress Diane Kruger surprised us by wearing this Marchesa design at the Golden Globe Awards in 2005. Diane later confessed that while she loved the dress, it might not be the perfect fit for the occasion. She told one magazine: “You could see my belly button, and everybody else was in long, flowy gowns.”
