When Nusret Gokce, a Turkish chef salted his food like this, the internet was taken with him. Quickly thereafter, he became known as Salt Bae. Gokce also owns a restaurant chain known as Et, which is present in seven countries.

However, not everyone is impressed by his work. The reviews of his actual dishes haven’t reached the same haven’t approval as his technique, although his popularity has still made the restaurants a general success.
